Edinburgh Christmas Walk & Run 2011

The Edinburgh Christmas Walk is a 6 mile walk starting at 11am in Inverleith Park. The route takes you through and round Inverleith Park before entering the John Hope Gateway of Edinburgh's beautiful Royal Botanic Garden and then along the peaceful Water of Leith to soak up the village atmosphere of Stockbridge before re-entering Inverleith Park and finishing. Dogs can enter but must be kept under strict control at all times.

Edinburgh Christmas Run is a 5km run, starting and finishing in Inverleith Park. The run kicks off at 9.30am. If your feeling energetic you can enter the run followed by the walk!

The Golden Tinsel Mile Walk begins at 11.30am; choose to stroll 1,2 or 3 miles.

The Santa Toddle, a walk for the "little ones". Santa arrives in Inverleith Park at 12.30pm, then come and join the Santa parade at 12.35. The Santa Toddle begins at approx. 1pm. So why not bring your little one to meet Santa after you have completed your walk or run. Age 6yrs and under. Entry fee £5 - each toddler will receive a toddle medal, certificate, and a Santa Goody Bag.
